Terms of Service
Effective 11 October 2026
These terms govern your use of botAEO: the app at crawl.botaeo.com and the site at botaeo.com. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you use botAEO on behalf of a company or a client, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for them. botAEO is operated by Trailmonger LLC ("we", "us"); "you" means the account holder.
1. The service
botAEO crawls websites, scores them for search and answer-engine readiness, and, if you connect them, reads your Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Ads data to report on real performance. Accounts are by invitation. We may change, add or remove features over time.
2. Your account
- Keep your login details and any access tokens you create secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without permission.
- Workspace owners decide who can see a workspace, including read-only client logins.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Crawl or audit sites you do not own or are not otherwise allowed to analyse, or crawl any site in a way that disrupts it.
- Connect Google or other accounts you are not authorized to access.
- Use botAEO to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, or send spam.
- Try to access other users' workspaces or data, probe or bypass security, or overload the service.
- Resell or provide botAEO to others as a service without our written permission.
4. Your data
You keep all rights to the data you bring to botAEO and the reports it produces for you. You give us permission to store and process that data only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Data from Google APIs is handled under the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
5. Third-party services
Some features rely on services we do not control, such as Google's APIs and the AI engines used for citation checks. Your use of those accounts is also subject to their own terms. Where you supply your own API keys, any charges from those providers are yours. We are not responsible for outages or changes on their side.
6. Results and AI output
Scores, findings, estimates and AI-generated answers are guidance, not guarantees. AI engines can be wrong or change their answers, and search rankings depend on factors outside anyone's control. Check important conclusions before acting on them.
7. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using botAEO and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk; where reasonable we will tell you first. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. No warranty
botAEO is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to botAEO is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect; continuing to use botAEO afterwards means you accept it.
